 United States wins 4 gold in 100 meters freestyle




The United States Gold Relay 4 Times 100 m Free Men Saturday at the Paris 2024TMLINAL Olympics star Kailip Dressel secured his eighth Olympic title personally.

Thanks to Jacques Alexei, Chris Giuliano, Hunter Armstrong and Dressel, the Americans retained the gold of their race in Tokyo three years ago, having outscored Australia and Italy, which received silver and bronze successively.

The Americans scored 3: 09.28 minutes, 1.07 seconds ahead of Australia and 1.42 ahead of Italy, who was runner-up three years ago in Tokyo directly against Australia.


Ladies

In the ladies, Australia was crowned a four-time free 100m relay and Molly O'Callaghan, Shayna Jack, Emma McKeown and Meg Harris all cut the race distance by 3: 28.92 minutes, the second fastest in history, with Australia's world record of 3: 27.96 minutes set on 23 July 2023.

Australia has maintained the world record since 2014 and has broken it four times since.

Australia erased its previous Olympic record set in Tokyo three years ago, specifically on 25 July, 3: 29.69 minutes.

It is the fourth Australian Women's Olympic title in the race
